It was cold and rainy but loyal customers still came out for a great opening day!
Andy Zeman of Benjamin Vineyards & Winery.
Luc LeTendre and daughter Madi sell tomatoes from Sunny Slope Greenhouses.
Local bluegrass band The Placeholders
entertain a young fan and provide great tunes to shop by!
Amy Sugg of Bonlee Grown Farm with some of her value-added products.
Joan Thompson of Poverty Hollow Farm
sells an array of baked goods and jams and jellies.
Tabitha Fischer of Singing Winds Farm (with sister Sarah)
demonstrates how to spin wool from their sheep into yarn.
Vicki Roberson and Andrea Young help kids plant seeds to take home
and nurture for their own gardens. The Pittsboro Lowe's Home Improvement
store donated all the materials for this kids' activity.
The Placeholders entertain the crowd.
