Queuing Up for Sunny Slope Tomatoes
Pittsboro, NC
Even a cool, rainy spring day could not thwart the throngs of faithful customers who just had to have their Sunny Slope tomatoes at the Pittsboro Farmers' Market. Farmer Jim LeTendre (pictured on right) kept the line moving and still made time to make each customer feel like an old friend (many of them are, since they have been buying his tomatoes for two decades!).
