These beans were covered by a row cover to protect them from bean leaf beetles. The row cover protected these beans from the hail, but farther down the row, both the row cover and the underlying beans were shredded.

Cut flowers also were hit hard.

Snapdragons lost their flower buds.

These celosia plants lost all their leaves.
