The top photo is of Emma, Andy and Heather's 6 year old daughter, and a goat kid. Their son John is shown playfully "boxing" with Damon, a buck that John grew up playing with (they are both 11 years old), in the bottom photo. Andy and Heather specialize in raising chickens and turkeys at Rose Hill Farm. They also own a USDA-inspected poultry processing plant that serves a vital role in North Carolina as the only plant that processes for small, independent producers. Although Andy and Heather are well-known for their expertise raising poultry, they also raise meat goats and have been instrumental in forming a network of farmers in Chatham who raise poultry and grass-fed beef, to whom they provide technical and marketing support.
