cloverCongratulations to members of the Chatham County Horsekateers 4-H Club for their participation and demonstrated excellence at the 2015 NC State 4-H Horse Judging and Hippology Contests held this past weekend on the campus of NC State University in Raleigh. The Senior Hippology team placed 3rd overall and consisted of team members Julie Dickerson, Lisa Dickerson, Summer Brown, and Ellie Belvin. Julie Dickerson received 6th Place High Score individual as well as 9th Place in Judging. Summer Brown received 10th Place in Judging.

Junior Hippology individual competitions included Grace Conerly and Raegan Brinkman, both members of the Chatham County Horsekateers 4-H Club. Grace Conerly also competed in the Judging Junior division. Grace was awarded 1st Place in Halter, 7th Place in Performance, 1st Place in Reasons, and 1st Place Overall with a total score of 532.

Congratulations to all of the team members on their hard work and great success! Many thanks to Horsekateer club leader, Mrs. Mary Dickerson, and team coaches, Maddie Edwards and Laura Dickerson, for all of their time, invaluable experiences, and kind support.
