Chatham County 4-Hers Win at District Activity Day

Chatham County 4-H members, Sarah Thomas and Katelyn Batchelor, had great success at the North Central District Activity Day competition held on the campus of NC A&T State University in Greensboro. Sarah Thomas, member of the Charging Champions 4-H Livestock Club, received Gold (first place) for her presentation entitled “Judging to the Top!” in the 14-18 age division in the Livestock and Dairy category. Katelyn Batchelor, also a member of the Charging Champions 4-H Livestock Club, received Silver (second place) for her presentation entitled “All But the Moo,” in the Livestock and Dairy category for the 14-18 age division.

Both Sarah and Katelyn advance to deliver their presentations at the state level at NC State University at NC 4-H Congress. Congratulations to Sarah and Katelyn on their well-deserved awards!
