Chatham County 4-H & EMG Programs Receive Walmart Community Grant
Chatham County 4-H and Chatham County Extension Master Gardeners have been selected as recipients of the competitive Walmart Community Grant, made possible by the local Siler City Store #2845. With this tremendous honor, valuable programmatic activities and materials related to a new butterfly science program will be provided to second-grade classrooms at Virginia Cross Elementary School. We are extremely honored to receive this funding, and like our partners at Walmart, we believe this will make a wonderful impact in the community in which we work and live. Our sincerest thanks to the Siler City Walmart for making this opportunity possible!
Chatham County 4-H is a proud participating United Way agency.
