It’s that time of the year where we will be seeing all the pumpkins, and maybe even eating all the pumpkin-flavored things. I love pumpkins because they remind me of the fall season! Today, I have a pumpkin DIY Craft where you can melt crayons onto a pumpkin, AND I have a fun recipe for kiddos… Pumpkin Pie in a bag!! (I even had fun making this one!)

Check out the first video to show you how to melt crayons onto your pumpkin:  Thursdays with Taylor – Pumpkin Craft

For this activity, you will need a pumpkin of choice, crayons of choice, a hot glue gun, and either a hairdryer or a heat gun.

pumpkin diyNext, we have the Pumpkin in a Bag Recipe! Yum! It turned out more like a pudding for me, but it was still very yummy. I would maybe suggest to cut the recipe in half. The full recipe calls for:

  • 2 2/3 cups of milk
  • 2 packets of vanilla pudding
  • 1 can of pumpkin filling
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • a pie crust or graham cracker crumbs

Please share your pumpkins with me by emailing me at taylor_furr@ncsu.edu! I hope you enjoy!
