Are your kids between the ages of 6-9? Do they love to help out in the kitchen? Then sign them up for The Little Bakers Bread Workshop! N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Little Bakers Bread Workshop will be held on June 8, 2021, from 9 a.m. to noon at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center. Participants will be making bread in a bag & pretzels. Your child will be a baker for the day as they learn about My Plate, hand washing, how to measure dry and liquid ingredients, different measuring tools, and how to fix delicious bread loaves to take home to enjoy with the family.

Reserve your child’s seat today at https://littlebakersinthekitchen.eventbrite.com. Make sure to complete your registration by registering your child with the 4-H Online system. You can complete this registration process by visiting 4-H Online. We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Your registration is not complete until we have received your payment. 

Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
