A 4-H Project Record Book is a

cumulative piece of work which documents a 4-H member’s skill development and learning experiences related to their chosen project area. Record books encourage members to set goals, establish strategies to meet those goals, and reflect on their ability to shift gears in the face of challenges and obstacles.
