Chatham County 4-H was honored to be recently named a new partner in the Chatham Success Network (CSN), a coordinated network convened by the United Way of Chatham County. The CSN was organized in an effort to address United Way's Bold Goal - ending and preventing poverty for 2,000 people by 2030 - for the community. The CSN functions as the engine behind the Bold Goal, enabling local partners to build coordinated systems so that families can successfully move out of poverty by improving stability, opportunity, and well-being for both individuals and families.
United Way is helping to enact this work by strengthening how the community works together, by convening partners across sectors, aligning resources, and investing in approaches that move beyond fragmented services toward coordinated, community-driven solutions.
Households can join the CSN if at least one student attends any of the following schools:
- Siler City Elementary School
- Virginia Cross Elementary School
- Pittsboro Elementary School
- Chatham Middle School
It's important to note that everyone living in the student's household can take part in the Chatham Success Network. It is free to join, and services are available in both English and Spanish.
