Youth exhibitors from across the region will gather in Pittsboro on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for the annual Chatham County 4-H Livestock Show. The event is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to come out and support local youth involved in agriculture and animal science.
The show provides young people with the opportunity to showcase the hard work, responsibility, and leadership skills developed through raising and caring for livestock projects. Exhibitors will participate in goat, sheep, cattle, and showmanship classes throughout the day.
The Chatham County 4-H Livestock Show is held in conjunction with the Farm Credit Showmanship Circuit and continues to serve as an important educational and youth development event for local agriculture. Similar 4-H livestock events across North Carolina help youth build confidence, communication skills, and hands-on agricultural experience.
