Are you trying to manage high blood pressure?
This series will offer up ways you can better manage your blood pressure with nutrition and stress management. You will join a small group for five classes to learn about foods that can improve blood pressure, ways to prepare and enjoy these foods, stress management techniques that can be easily used, and tips from other participants on how they manage their blood pressure.
Each class will be led by Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Tara Gregory, a Registered Dietitian. Each participant will receive weekly vouchers to buy fresh, local food at the Pittsboro Farmers Market.
The series will begin on Wednesday, September 6th, from 12 pm.–1:15 pm and run for five weeks, through October 4th, 2023. There is no cost to participants for this program.
