Diagnosis and Management of Pests and Diseases of Tomatoes

Access to fresh tomatoes is among the most rewarding aspects of home vegetable gardening, and at time the most challenging. Warm nights, high rain and humidity, and resulting pest and disease pressure can frustrate even experienced gardeners.

Join Matt Jones (Extension Horticulture Agent) for a workshop and webinar on identifying and managing the most common pests, diseases, and physiological disorders of home-grown tomatoes. This Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer-led workshop will also show how they can help you identify and make management recommendations for challanging tomato problems.

There are two options to participate in this event:

1) Register to recieve a pre-recorded webinar (200 slots available)

OR

2) Register to participate in an in-person workshop in Pittsboro, NC, which will include a pre-recorded webinar (30 slots available) taught by the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Chatham County.

All registrants will recieve th pre-recorded webinar, to be released on July 2nd.
The hands-on demonstration will include tips on choosing resistant varieties, growing tomatoes, scouting for pests and diseases, and harvesting tomatoes.
