Changes for Forage Testing

(Updated: Aug. 31, 2021, 5:33 a.m.)

If you're planning on sending forage samples for analysis in the next two months, be aware that the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is moving into the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences Center and therefore the Farm Feed and Forage Testing Service will not be accepting samples during this time. In order to ensure producers can still get samples tested, the North Carolina Animal Feed Program has made arrangements with Cumberland Valley Analytical Services to provide nutritional analysis while closed. The NCDA&CS is also waiving the $10/sample fee during this time.

Please read this letter for more information. You can also find the sample form at the bottom that must be completed and mailed with all samples.
