virtual camp logoEven though we are unable to continue with our in-person 4-H camps this summer due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are bringing you the next best thing:  virtual camp and remote grab-and-go kits!  We’re excited to offer these educational learning opportunities during July and August, and thanks to the continued generous support of the United Way of Chatham County and Triangle Community Foundation, these educational kits will be offered to community members at no cost.

All youth between the ages of 5-18 (as of Jan. 1, 2020) are invited to participate in these activities, regardless if they are currently enrolled in 4-H or not. We’ll have a great time covering a lot of topics this summer including agriculture, nutrition, STEM, crafts, water quality, and so much more! Some programs have been created in collaboration with other 4-H professionals across the state, and many other opportunities are offered by your 4-H crew right here in Chatham.

More information will be added throughout the month, so please be sure to check back for the latest updates!

CHATHAM COUNTY 4-H CAMPS & KITS:  Preferred registration for all camps and kits will occur by July 3rd. Registration will be open until the kit distribution date. Once registration has been completed, parents will be contacted and will receive a scheduled pick-up time to come by the Extension office to receive kits.
